Hardened washers are used to provide a larger bearing surface for loads developed in high tensile joints. They can also be used to protect joint surfaces and provide uniform under-head friction conditions.
Hardened washers are often used in conjunction with Infastech® threaded products and pin and collar swaged system. Common applications include joints, frogs, chairs, crossings, bridges and guard rails.
