Springs are grouped into three basic types:
- Compression Springs work by exerting force against the spring load.
- Extension Springs work by exerting force inward to bring components together.
- Torsion Springs work by returning the rotational components to their original position.
Compression Springs, Extension Springs and Torsion Springs are found in computers and peripherals, mobile phones and other consumer electronics.
We provide a wide range of precision compression, extension, torsion, wire form and flat springs. Wire diameters range from ultra-fine 0.05mm to sizes up to 8mm. The smallest internal diameter is 0.1mm. Typical materials used include carbon, piano, stainless steel, beryllium copper, oil tempered and plated wire.
